The Cayenne generation of engines has been redeveloped completely from scratch and they now offer even greater power and torque, combined with a further improvement in efficiency. The efficient 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine in the Cayenne is equipped with a twin-scroll turbocharger positioned between the cylinder banks and boasts 340hp. The newly developed 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine in the Cayenne S offers a mighty 440hp, making it 20hp more powerful than the engine in the predecessor model - despite a reduction in fuel consumption.
